Behind the rich aromas and authentic flavors of Advika Zayka is the remarkable journey of our founder, Priyanka Jaiswal.
Priyanka was born 100% blind. Growing up, she faced and overcame immense challenges just to complete her education, refusing to let circumstances define her boundaries. Instead, she turned to her deepest, lifelong passion: the culinary arts. Guided by an extraordinary, highly refined sense of taste and aroma, Priyanka channelled her incredible sensory talents into the kitchen, becoming a celebrated cook among her family and friends.
From a Home Kitchen to an Enterprise
The seeds of Advika Zayka were planted in 2023 when Priyanka began making traditional, celebrated handmade festive laddus. The overwhelming love from her customers sparked an entrepreneurial fire. On August 15, 2024, she officially registered her business under a beautiful name belonging to her young daughter: Advika—meaning "Unique" in Sanskrit. Together with Zayka, it represents our core mission.
Priyanka initially operated a successful catering and cloud kitchen business. However, witnessing the inherent challenges of fresh food waste deeply impacted her. Driven by a desire to build a sustainable business that addresses the modern consumer's biggest challenge—heavily processed, chemical-laden food—Priyanka made a brilliant business pivot to premium retail spice manufacturing. Today, she meticulously curates and oversees every traditional formulation.
